Signs of the Season

Just four blossoms this year on my young peony.

I haven’t seen one of these guys in many years! Isn’t is incredible how something so destructive can be so beautiful!?

    OH! The (very) hungry caterpillar!!
    It never fails to amaze me,how we need DESTRUCTION (ie the caterpilars) to create a new world out of their voraciuos destruction.
    It seems to me that every negative in Nature produces a reactive POSITIVE.

      I couldn’t agree more. And that ying/yang relationship allows us to enjoy the beauty even in destructive things.
