Publicity about fiber art exhibits is always nice. I mentioned earlier publicity the exhibit received here. Machine Quilting Unlimited magazine devoted six pages in their May/June 2018 issue to feature Art Quilts: Works by Members of SAQA California & Nevada regions. Click on image for a larger view.
I was thrilled that they chose one of the art pieces that I have in the exhibit be in the article.
And there’s more news: I recently learned that Precious Metals II and Broken Ginkgos IV, the other piece I have in the exhibit, have both found their way into the hearts and homes of two Southern California collectors. They will be sent to their new owners when the exhibit ends at the Carnegie Arts Center in Turlock, California at the end of the month. Here is Broken Ginkgos IV

I have enjoyed these two works very much and I am happy to know that they will have good homes.
