My nephew and his bride will be presenting their son Oliver with a baby sister any day now. I decided it was time to check out some of the embroidery designs I have and see what I could come up with.
Baby Girl isn’t going to care what these bibs look like so I’ve had the person at the other end of the spoon in mind while selecting designs. I think Mr. Monkey could help just about any adult quickly forget about the applesauce and creamed spinach that will be flying across the room momentarily.
Having recently experimented with lettering designs for my seat upholstery project, I took a look at the lettering available that might make me think of a Sweet Baby Sister. ‘First Grade’ hit the spot for me.
This bib will come with the instruction to work up ones best John Wayne voice when saying “Sweet baby sister, wah-haw.” That’s bound to keep a smile going no matter what happens during that meal.
A good start. I have more terry cloth and a couple other ideas forming fast. I made 5 bibs for Oliver — I’m sure I can come up with a couple more ideas for a girl.
