Spring is here in all its glory. A breath-taking sunrise on the Willamette River
flowed into a gorgeous spring morning.
A thoughtful person left a hand-painted stone on a bench in Fields Park.
There is much to take joy in.
Be strong. Be patient. Be kind.
Be thankful.
I am!
Beautiful Franki. How lovely to find a gold stone with Patience written on it. Sure can use that right now. The people on the road are driving like crazy.
Yes, that stone is a quiet reminder that we all need a bit of patience. Our roads are very empty.
wow, that sunrise is stunning! i cannot tell you the last time i saw the sunrise, let alone was out walking when the sun rose! and the veins in the flower petals…be still my heart!
Well, as you can see, the sunrise on the river is worth the effort to crawl outa bed! And those dogwood are my favorite variety around here. Huge, floppy flowers that last and last. They are on the tree right into late September, sometimes beyond. Several other varieties close by seldom make it through the summer.
Thanks, Franki, for sharing your sunrise and those lovely flowers!!
My pleasure.
Thank you for sharing. So nice to see outside and how Spring is so different in other areas of our country.
My pleasure Vivian. It’s spring! Such a joyful, beautiful time of year. I don’t want to miss a moment of what is unfolding before my eyes.
