I am particularly thrilled to share here that my art quilt Peaches has been accepted for Birds of a Fiber 2024 at the Pacific Northwest Quilt & Fiber Arts Museum in La Conner, WA. It’s not often that I see a call for entry where I can enter Peaches, and this one is all birds. It doesn’t get any better. This will be an exhibit worth traveling to see!
The museum is a delightful old Victorian-turned museum just 1 1/2 hours north of Seattle. The town is charming, so if you plan to visit the museum and you haven’t lingered here before, make plans to do so this time.

I knew Peaches on the wing. What a great / intelligent – smart feathered friend! The colors and attitude are captured perfectly! Great job Franki!!!
Thank you Shari. I still miss my little buddy.

Congrats, Franki! Enjoy your reception; I would be there if I could!
Oh dear! I just found your comment in the dreaded SPAM! Thank you for the comment. I couldn’t make the reception but we are going up on 2/15 to visit La Conner — such a lovely little town — and the museum, of course. I can’t wait to see this all-bird exhibit!
