The first of my new series is done. I’m happy with the final look and feel to this piece. A bluish-gray overall color is right since that is the color of the metal. I had to purchase some beads (there is always something needed); everything else was already in my closet. Though one could not tell that anything is gone since I needed so little. It was fun to discover this new-to-me precious metal. And it is actually the rarest metal. Gold, Silver and Copper will follow; each with new decisions to be made. I’m looking forward to each of them.
It you missed earlier posts about this piece, you can check them out here and here.
Stay tune for progress on this series and news about a sketching class I just started.

It’s so beautiful, Franki. I especially love the quilting – breaking up the concentric circles with those sprigs of nature.
