Sketchbook Skool instructor Cathy Johnson had us sketching birds this past week. I tried my hand at a cedar waxwing sketch with watercolor but was disappointed in the outcome. I’m pretty happy with this sketch of a raven though. Click on image for a larger view.
I am also taking a class focused on sketching dogs and cats. Two classes at one time is one class too many for me. So, I’m off to practice sketching fur and wet noses — wish me luck!
You are such a go-getter! Yes, two classes is too many for you at one time. You have so many other things going and you take your work so seriously. You have such great results to show for your seriousness. Hope you resolve your dilemma!
Sketchbook Skool has just one more lesson to go and I’ll have the Val Webb class alone. *sigh*
I signed up for a class but it has to do with computers. And I’m taking an I-tunes class at Apple this week-end. Have fun! That is #1 as you say!
Good luck with the computer skill development. I am following my own guidelines and having a great time!
