Here are two sketches I’ve done in the last couple days. The pear is done with pen and watercolor. Click on image for a larger view.
This blackbird is done with watercolor only. I painted the entire page and let it dry before painting the blackbird. This was inspired by a wine label.

Your pear is very nice, but I am in love with your bird!! And your Best Friends piece is very clever!
The bird was fun and a challenge. I did a similar sketch of art tools a couple years ago and labeled it “Weapons of Mass Creation.”
Clever and inspiring and fun, all at once. The crow? has an attitude. I bet the contents of the bottle did, too!
